What is Happening?
Professionally, I continue to serve as Chair of the Fellows Committee of CSAB - the Computing Sciences Accreditation Board. I am still chairing evaluation teams for the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, and I have been involved in accreditation of computing programs at US colleges and universities since 1986. In recent years, ABET has expanded its computing accreditation activities to international programs, and I have been fortunate to visit institutions in Dubai, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia as part of my accreditation activities.
At the July 2006 meeting of the Computing Accreditation Commission in Washington, I was honored as a CSAB Fellow for lifetime achievement in computing education and computing accreditation. This is the highest honor CSAB bestows, so it was a special honor given by a group of highly respected peers for whom I have the highest regard.
I continue to enjoy teaching programming classes at ETSU. I typically teach the second part of our introductory Java courses as well as Data Structures and C# courses and an ASP.NET course. I also teach freshman and sophomore level honors courses for our majors.

Using This Site
This site is an example of an ASP.NET 4.0 application. It was developed as
an example for class use as well as a functioning web site.
The navigation menu at the top of each page of the site allows you to move back
and forth between pages, and the "bread crumbs trail" below it shows where you are at any given time. The navigation menu is repeated at the
bottom of each page for your convenience.
Logging in is only necessary for family and close friends who wish
to view any private photo albums. Others are not
required to register, but they may.
There are no "private" photo albums on this except for one containing a few pictures
taken at the San Diego zoo, included simply to illustrate this feature.
